The Haven Policies
IF YOU NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL:
In order for us to continue to serve this community in this capacity, please be courteous and provide notice of at least 24 hours to cancel or reschedule appointments. This helps to ensure that we can run an efficient and effective practice and meet the needs of those who are waiting to get an appointment.
Cancellations made prior to 24 hours of your appointment will not be charged. Cancellations or rescheduled appointments made less than 24 hours of your appointment and no shows will be charged the FULL amount of the service booked. A card will be required at the time of booking.
An email, text, or social media message does not qualify as a cancellation. You are responsible for your appointments and have access to them through our online scheduling portal. You cannot access your appointment after the 24 hour period, so please plan accordingly.
Cancelling appointments takes away times for existing patients and we take those times very seriously. We allow new patients to reschedule their initial consultation and report of findings TWO times. If a patient must reschedule more than TWO times, The Haven Chiropractic has the right to refer you to an alternative chiropractor.
LATE POLICY:
We must adhere to the time allotted for your appointment to respect our time and the time of all practice members. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your scheduled appointment. This allows for a stress-free arrival with a few moments to relax. Take your shoes off, breathe deeply, enjoy our calming atmosphere, grab a glass of purified water, coffee or kombucha, chat with likeminded community members, or just take some time to yourself!
When you schedule an appointment, time is reserved for you and no one else. If you are even just 5 minutes late to your appointment, there will be less time for us to review your health goals, gain an understanding of your response to nervous system centered chiropractic care, answer questions, perform a detailed neurospinal analysis and deliver gentle, yet specific adjustments. We understand that life happens and we do our best to extend grace to all the families we serve, but with appointments scheduled every 10 minutes, you've already missed half your scheduled appointment time. To accommodate every practice member, we will shorten your appointment time if you arrive late.
If you are 10 minutes late, your appointment will be rescheduled and you will be charged in full.
$80 DEPOSIT FOR FIRST VISITS:
There is a $80 non-refundable deposit for initial consultations. Payment of the deposit must be made in order for the appointment to be booked. This deposit will be applied towards the total cost of your first visit. For established practice members, a credit card will need to be kept on file.
If you need to reschedule your initial consultation, please do so within 24 hours. If it is after that 24 hours, your appointment will be charged in FULL with the card on file.
If you no call, no show your initial consultation, The Haven has the right to refer you to another chiropractor and charge the card on file for the full amount of the initial consultation.
